Terms & Conditions

 

Whilst we love what we do for a living we are a business and so have staff members and families to provide for and sustain. Our terms and conditions are created fairly, to ensure we can do this and continue to provide the service and quality recognised by our customers. By booking a photo session with Emotion Studios you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Vouchers and Prizes:

All “Emotion Studios” vouchers purchased from our website are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. The photo session can be booked for a date exceeding this period.

Any photoshoot won as a prize with Emotion Studios must be booked in within 1 month of winning, however the booking date can exceed up to 3 months from this date, any products won must be ordered within 3 months of your photoshoot booking, if not your prize will be forfeited. 

3rd party vouchers automatically have a 12 month validity from the date of the purchase.

Vouchers or prizes cannot be transferred, used to purchase images from other photo shoots or redeemed for cash or other goods.

Photoshoot vouchers are limited to one per family/ Photoshoot. Vouchers cannot be combined into a single shoot.

Photoshoot vouchers purchased from our website will be posted 1st class via Royal Mail. (This can take up to 5 working days). If you require faster delivery please contact the studio on 01746 710 128.

One viewing appointment is included with each photoshoot booking on our diary, if you require any additional viewing appointments these will be charged at a cost of £30 per appointment, however this charge can be used as credit towards any purchases.

Attendance is required to both your studio shoot and your viewing appointment at Emotion Studios to be eligible for your prize or complimentary image(s).

Booking Deposits:

ALL appointments require a £30 booking deposit.

Booking deposits will be credited to your order or refunded at your viewing appointment provided you have kept to both your Photoshoot and Viewing appointments. 

Failure to attend any of your appointments will result in the loss of your deposit. If you do not turn up to an appointment Emotion Studios Ltd reserves the right to retain all monies paid and cancel all vouchers or prizes and their benefits. 

Refunds/ Cancellations:

If you cancel more than 48 hours after your booking has been made a £10 admin fee will be charged. 

If you cancel your session within 7 days of your appointment a £30 fee will be charged.

A full refund will be issued for any Emotion Studios voucher cancelled within 48 hours of its purchase. 

Terms of Sale:

Due to the custom nature of Emotion Studios Ltd’s services, all sales are final. Once the order has been placed, the order cannot be cancelled or altered and no refund will be given.

Goods are not sold on a sale or return or approval basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Orders are sent off immediately to our suppliers therefore any changes to your order will be subject to administration charges.

All goods remain the property of Emotion Studios Ltd until paid for in full. 

Any part paid orders will be held by Emotion Studios Ltd for a maximum of 12 months and 1 day from the order date before being disassembled and any payment being lost.

Sizes are approximate and always in inches. Sizes are measured by the inside edge of the longest side of a frame or front edge of a canvas, block or metallic.

Copyright:

All images remain the property of Emotion Studios Ltd. With the exception of Hi-res Digital products, reproduction of any image without expressed permission by any means whatsoever is strictly prohibited and is a criminal offence under the 1988 Copyrights and Patents Act.

If any of these terms and conditions is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or part this will not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

Telephone calls may be recorded for training purposes.

Closed circuit T.V is installed throughout the premises, all clients may be monitored for training and security purposes.

Products:

All of our frames are custom, handmade products so sizes and tones might differ slightly from frame to frame.

All images will be produced as seen in the product preview appointment. Any changes will only be made if specified on your order and may be subject to an additional charge.

Whilst delivery dates will be adhered to as much as possible they do not constitute part of the contract.

All work must be collected from the studio by the client, inspected and approved before removal from the premises.

Complaints:

In the event of any unsatisfactory work, all products must be returned complete with packaging and order form within three days of collection.

Every effort will be made to fulfil all orders placed with Emotion Studios Ltd but completion of them is subject to variation or cancellation owing to acts of God, War, Strikes Fire or any cause beyond our control.
